Just the Facts: not looking forward to the new “Midway” movie because all of the CGI I see in promo commercials for this so-called ‘blockbuster’ film make it look like a video game- do it right or don’t do it at all!

Enough with CGI, let’s get back to making movies the ‘right way’

Kula, HI 96790, 11-07-2019 Thursday:   BIG MOVIE coming out, “Midway.”  For the United States in the Pacific Theater during World War II, this was the turning point that gave us the upper hand.  It was a brutal fight and it required some amazing deception on our part.  The United States had no clue as to where the next strike by Imperial Japanese naval forces would occur, would it continue in the Aleutian Islands, would there be a strike on the Panama Canal, or would it be Midway Island, part of the physical Hawaiian Island Chain but far to the west at the archipelago’s extreme tip.
