SUMMER SESSION 2018

BLOG POST #207 AT THE AICP-END

ONE HUNDRED-AND-THIRTY-TWO DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2018

I once thought the Robert Mueller investigation would bear fruit; it is, but it is rotten fruit
Arvin, CA, 06-27-2018 Wednesday: Last year, I will admit, the Mueller investigation into Donald J. Trump and collusion with Russia seemingly was solid and was going to bear fruit.  Well, since then, it seems as though everything connected to that disaster is dragging the Democratic Party down as though we have a millstone tied around our collective necks.  At what point do the saner voices begin crying, “NO MORE!”
As Chef Brian has mentioned to me on more than one occasion, he is glad his mom, Beverly Carrick- the person whom we celebrate here every Tuesday- is gone as if she were still alive, he contends, she would be chomping on the bit over what she would see as ‘unfair and biased investigatory work into someone whose only ‘crime’ is that he is rough around the edges and shoots from the hip.’
I can understand where she would be coming from were she still alive today because things are slowly beginning to unravel in the Mueller investigation and I now believe that is going to cause negative repercussions for the Democrat Party and not for the administration or for the GOP.
If anything, it is going to enable the Republicans to beef up their numbers on the Hill as well as to clean out some of the more liberal Republicans, aka the RINOS who are in the “Never Trump” camp perhaps one of the most embarrassing spectacles in the history of either political party.
We will now take a breather and look at the beautiful batch of Beverly Carrick artworks, some of them being among the finest that I have ever seen.  I hope you will take a few minutes out of your busy day to indulge the senses in these lovely artworks.  Here we go:

BEVERLY CARRICK ORIGINAL ARTWORKS FOR JUNE 27, 2018:

I applaud the glorious selection of ethereal paintings we see here, paintings we must protect from all threats, whether they be Islamic or some dumb ass kids running amok in a Nebraska art gallery.  Can you imagine having a bill for a statue destroyed by YOUR brats for $132,000?  Wow, I am glad it is not me as my family’s life savings would go up in a puff of smoke.
As for politics, we must encourage civility to return to our public discourse as crazy old bags such as Auntie Maxine must be thrown out on their bony asses and left in the street for the people to ridicule.  Maxine Waters, it is high time for you to retire.  I would hope you would do it soon, you corrupt old hag.
That will do it for today; please, make sure you visit me at the main blog, that you leave comments, that you become a follower of BOTH blogs and that you buy the merchandise we promote daily.  Thanks, I will see you over there.
Thanks again.

This is a facsimile of me as a young chef back in the 1960's when I was working as a sous chef at a fine dining restaurant, the Victor Hugo, over on the coast around Newport, California.  I began my career working as a pot washer at the age of 10, move to washing dishes in 1958, became a chef's apprentice in 1961 and have been a career professional ever since.  I am still involved in professional foodservice as a consultant for food and beverage professionals.  Famed Bakersfield street artist Simone created the cartoonish figure of me, which appears to be ‘me’ but I hope I look better than how he portrayed me.  You are the judge.

On September 01, 1989, Savoy Brown released their next album, the amazing “Kings of Boogie.”  Once again, the lineup was the same as the preceding effort: Kim Simmonds (guitars/vocals/harmonica/keyboards), Jimmy Dagnesi (bass), Al Macomber (drums), and veteran rocker Dave Walker (vocals).  Every fan of rock-and-roll bands out of Britain know the BIG GUITAR names: Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and Jimmy Page.  Well, Simmonds deserves to be in that pantheon of guitar greats, too, which is why we urge everyone to use the link we provide you here so you can go to Amazon.com.  Once there you can pick the CD up in the format, the condition, and the price that works best for you.  You will be so glad you did.

FEATURED ALBUM OF THE DAY:

On September 01, 1989Savoy Brown released their next album, the amazing “Kings of Boogie.”  Once again, the lineup was the same as the preceding effort: Kim Simmonds (guitars/vocals/harmonica/keyboards), Jimmy Dagnesi (bass), Al Macomber (drums), and veteran rocker Dave Walker (vocals).  Every fan of rock-and-roll bands out of Britain know the BIG GUITAR names: Eric ClaptonJeff Beck, and Jimmy Page.  Well, Simmonds deserves to be in that pantheon of guitar greats, too, which is why we urge everyone to use the link we provide you here so you can go to Amazon.com.  Once there you can pick the CD up in the format, the condition, and the price that works best for you.  You will be so glad you did.

SPECIAL ALBUM(S) OF THE DAY:

In 1971Pacific Gas & Electric slashed its name to PG&E due to the power company of the same name going after them with legal problems and put out its fourth album, “PG&E.”  The album featured Charlie Allen (vocals), Ron Woods (drums), Frank Petricca (bass), Kent Utterback (lead guitar), Jerry Aiello (keyboards), Stanley Abernathy (trumpet), Alfred Galagos and Virgil Gonsalves (saxophones), and Joe Lala (percussion).  This band broke all the norms of the time featuring musicians of various skin colors performing together, which lead to fights and even gunfire at some stops across the American South.  This is a great album, one we wholeheartedly promote, which is why we urge you to use the link we provide you here so you can visit Amazon.com where you can pick it up in the format, the condition, and the price that rocks your wild 1960s’ rock-and-roll socks.
