SPRING SESSION 2018

BLOG POST #204 AT THE AICP-END

ONE HUNDRED-AND-FIFTY-THREE DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2018

What could be better than viewing beautiful Beverly Carrick original artworks while enjoying California fine wines and foods?
San Luis Obispo, CA, 06-06-2018 Wednesday: Friends, it appears that our long relationship with Amazon.com might be coming to an end; however, that does not mean that we will stop promoting albums at their website, you will have to go there and buy them yourselves sans using links provided to you here.  We love Amazon but lately have not shipped many units with which, to maintain the relationship so we are going to let it go for a while.  It is possible that at some point, we might renew the relationship but that remains for us to see.
Once again, we are nearing the end of the Beverly Carrick art catalog unless, of course, the family discovers new, heretofore unseen images and can get them ready for online display.  I believe they have scoured the entire studio and storage areas but one never knows what might still be found.  I guess we will wait and see.
Please do not experience discouragement over the fact that the cycle is nearing an end as we still have about another 170 images to go before we arrive at the end and then start over again.  We love commenting on the lovely images that Beverly bestowed upon the world as in this time of increasing political hostility, never-ending special counsel investigations into a sitting president who has done nothing wrong, and growing political anger on the left, it is good to have an oasis of peace to enjoy.
This is precisely what the Wednesday visitation at the secondary blog is all about: It is an oasis from which, to leave behind the ever-growing leftist political anger that will not dissipate until we deliver such an ass-kicking that they shamble off into the wilderness where they remain for 50-100 years.
Let us enter the oasis now and spend some time viewing the fabulous artworks we have on tap for today.  Like fine wine, each one requires a few minutes of savoring, smelling the digital canvass, feeling the energy surrounding each painting, and then letting one’s mind vanish into the depths of each painting for what might seem like an eternity.
Here we go:

BEVERLY CARRICK ORIGINAL ARTWORKS FOR JUNE 06, 2018:

#1306 12” x 16” “Garden Idyll”

#1307 12” x 16” “Watering Hole”

#1308 11” x 14” “The Big Shoe”

#1309 12” x 16” “Yuccas Bloom”

#1310 12” x 16” “Wildflowers”

#1311 16” x 20” “Cambria Shore”

#1312 12” x 16” “Navajo Shepherdess”

#1313 11” x 14” “Near Big Sur”

#1314 8” x 10” “Sierra Sunset”

#1315 8” x 10” “Ocotillo and Verbena”

#1316 8” x 10” “The Wave”

#1317 11” x 14” “Poppy Sunset”

#1318 20” x 24” “Bottom of the Garden”

#1319 20” x 24” “Desire”

#1320 8” x 10” “Shoreline”

I love every style of painting, especially the spectacular ones featuring the shoreline or the ocean waves racing towards the trembling viewer.  My hubby and I do our best to make it to the coast at least once a week as business allows as there is nothing more refreshing then spending half-a-day watching the ocean go about its business.
Fine-dining along the coast is always a treat as nothing is better than watching the sun heading out to sea, feeling the amber and crimson rays of the setting sun penetrating the windows of the restaurant.  Enjoying a few glasses of California wine, eating fresh clams and mussels- even oysters- can set the mood for the evening to come.  Never miss a chance to visit the coast of the Golden State.
Please, make sure you rejoin me over at the main blog where we hash out the challenging issues of the day.  Nothing is more important than asking the tough questions and finding the elusive answers to making things better for all of us.  I will see you over there.
God bless and thank you.

In 1985, Savoy Brown released “Live in Central Park,” an album featuring the lineup that made “Street Corner Talking,” Kim Simmonds (lead guitar), Dave Walker (vocals, harmonica), Paul Raymond (keyboards, guitars), Andy Silvester (bass), and Dave Bidwell (drums).  When we bought this album, we assumed it was a bootleg as it was on an off-label, but the recording quality is fabulous.  The band cranks out some of the best versions of the tunes on that awesome album, as well as a long closer, “Savoy Brown Boogie” to close out the show.  We know you will love this CD so please use the link we provide you here so you can embark on a digital journey to the world’s greatest online marketplace, Amazon.com.  When you arrive there, pick out the format, the condition, and the price that works best for you—you will be glad you did.

FEATURED ALBUM OF THE DAY:

In 1985Savoy Brown released “Live in Central Park,” an album featuring the lineup that made “Street Corner Talking,” Kim Simmonds (lead guitar), Dave Walker (vocals, harmonica), Paul Raymond (keyboards, guitars), Andy Silvester (bass), and Dave Bidwell (drums).

SPECIAL ALBUM(S) OF THE DAY:

Today’s Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention album is their second album, “Absolutely Free,” which the band released in 1967.  Like their first album, “Freak Out,” the band proved that they were indeed unique among the stable of artists at Warner Brothers Records and had absolutely nothing that AM radio deejays could play.  FM Radio, however, was perfect for them and this album blazed up its charts.  Great music and a definite must for all serious collectors of the band and of the musical times, you can buy this CD now simply by using the handy link provided above and by then going to Amazon.com and buying it!  Thank you for using our site to buy your CDs, it helps us keep the proverbial wolves from our door!
