SPRING SESSION 2018

BLOG POST #205 AT THE AICP-END

ONE HUNDRED-AND-FORTY-SIX DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY 2018

Why Google Blogger has returned to ‘ghosting’ our two blogs is unknown; however, if they continue doing it, we are going to hammer them with a class action lawsuit
Century, CA, 06-13-2018 Wednesday: I must say, I am surprised at how we are close to closing the ‘loop’ on Beverly Carrick original artworks for the SECOND time here at this venerable platform for promoting her works.  As you know, we have approximately 1,490 or so copyrighted Beverly Carrick original images that we do 15 per week here at the secondary blog and one per day at the main blog.  We love doing this as it allows us to exercise our artistic bent, something I know every one of you love and enjoy seeing.
I concur with my friend and colleague, Chef Murphy, aka “Murph” to the fans of the American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day that coming here is akin to taking a brief vacation away from the politics of the day.  However, politics is what has happened to both this and the main blog, which is why we have opened a second front at WordPress
As you know, if you join us frequently, we have problems with Google Blogger, a host to whom we have long since lost any sort of familial feelings toward as they seem to want to ‘ghost us’ every time we begin seeing our numbers shoot up, which is why as I said, we now have a second front available to us at WordPress.
WordPress is a fine host and if Google Blogger decides to terminate both our blogs, then we will already be over there doing what we do best, sharing our views on an increasingly crazier world.  We like Google but if they are going to play ‘chicken shit leftist’ with us then we will sue the living hell out of them for breach of their fidelity duties to us as a consumer and as a user.
We know there are hundreds of thousands of other bloggers who have suffered the same problem with this bunch of leftist losers so we do hope they continue ghosting us and that they shut us down as once they do, we are going to cut loose on them with a legal barrage that could drive them out of the blog-hosting business.  That would be sweet.
Okay, let us take a breather and look at some Beverly Carrick paintings and then, we will pick back up on the other side of the aisle.  Let us begin now:

BEVERLY CARRICK ORIGINAL ARTWORKS FOR JUNE 13, 2018:

#1321 12” x 16” “A Peaceful Stream”

#1322 8” x 10” “Lonely Shepherd”

#1323 8” x 10” “Bird Bouquet”

#1324 20” x 16” “What’s Up”

#1325 16” x 20” “The Catnip Mouse”

#1326 8” x 10” “Just passing by”

#1327 11” x 14” “Wishing”

#1328 6” x 8” “Pink Perfection”

#1329 24” x 36” “Yucca Canyon”

#1330 9” x 12” “Rocky Gorge”

#1331 6” x 8” “Wave”

#1332 24” x 30” “Breaking Surf”

#1333 9” x 12” “Calico amidst Flowers”

#1334 24” x 36” “Sundown”

#1335 16” x 20” “Saguaro Canyon”

I hope you enjoyed the fine paintings we presented up top.  Some of them are lifelong favorites and my wife and I seek out what remains available on the national and sometimes global markets so we can add them to the walls in the dining room at the restaurant.  What could be better than dark wooden walls adorned with Beverly Carrick original artworks?
As for Google, we are reaching out to them, hoping against hope, that they will return to treating us fairly and squarely as a client with a long history with them.  We are working on our ninth year and we should have several million unique views under our belts yet we only have 316,000 plus views.  What a shame but we will NEVER give up.
I also would like to thank local Bakersfield street artist, Simone, for her ‘unique’ depictions of not only me but my colleagues in our new original drawings.
We want to limit people’s opportunity to find our names, home locations, and phone numbers because, if we face the truth, the left has gone bat-crap crazy in recent years and NO one who owns and operates a business wants Antifa trash breaking out their windows and accosting them at home.
Still, that is why I own firearms and use them.  Should left-wing Nazis find me, I will drop them like a cat does flies.  See you over at the main blog.
Bye.
Thank you!

This is a photo of me at an ACF Convention back in the early 1960's when I was a representative from our California chapter.  Anyhow, I am a great deal older than this picture now but that's what we're doing, sharing OLD pictures of all of us.  I am still a handsome man, however!

FEATURED ALBUM OF THE DAY:

In 1986Savoy Brown released their next album, “Slow Train,” a live effort featuring Kim Simmonds performing live with just his guitar and harmonica as well as with his band, which features David Buyers (bass) and Tommy Rich (drums).  On this effort, he performs the classic blues tunes that electrified a generations of British rock-and-roll stars.  We hope you will use the link we provide you here so you can go directly to Amazon.com where you can pick it up in the format, the condition, and the price that works best for you.

SPECIAL ALBUM(S) OF THE DAY:

The follow up to Mott the Hoople’s debut album, “Mad Shadows,” came out in September 1970 and found the band working at breakneck pace as they performed almost incessantly and recorded in between gigs.  Known as the band’s darkest effort, for many it is a tour de force, which is why we love it so much.  The lineup remains the same: Ian Hunter (vocals/guitars), Mick Ralphs (vocals/guitars), Overend Watts (bass/backing vocals), Dale “Buffin” Griffin (drums/backing vocals), and Verden Allen (keyboards/backing vocals).   Although not as good as the works to come, it contains some gems that would remain among the band’s live repertoire throughout their career such as “Walking with a Mountain” and “Thunderbuck Ram.”  We hope you will use the link we provide you here, so you can go directly to Amazon.com where you can get it in the format, the condition, and the price that works best for you- you will be glad you did.
