MORE: CLIMAX BLUES BAND

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 20, 2016

The Climax Blues Band put out another great album a year after “Tightly Knit,” 1972’sRich Man.”  The same lineup as on the preceding album appeared on this record, too, and for fans, many swear it is the LAST GREAT Climax Blues Band album.  We at the AICP-END tend to be much more open-minded when it comes to how we feel about a band’s work over the years and folks; every group has the right to evolve and to change.  Unfortunately, some fans are so locked into a singular sound; they cannot tolerate a note of change.  Imagine if the Rolling Stones never changed after their first two albums, you know, never recorded “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction, and just left it “Not Fade Away?”  People, allow a band to change and to evolve and this album is a fine one but so are the ones that follow it.  Please, use our link so you can go to Amazon.com so you can pick it up there in the format, the condition, and the price that rocks your socks.
