SUMMER SESSION 2016

BLOGPOST #104 AT THE AICP-END

Gracias for joining me here today, amigos, we have some muy gorgeous paintings on tap for you
San Diego, CA, 07-16-2016 Wednesday: Hello, mis amigos, I am proud to be back at the secondary blog, the place where we chefs marry food with fine art.  I think all of us are aware that we live in a time of deep political divide, a time in which, the world spins around out of control, and a place where political elites divide us to rule us.  All we can do is to keep our faith, enjoy spending time with friends and family, and visiting museums of fine art.  I think Beverly Carrick deserves to undergo sainthood as one of the all-time great American artists because every single flipping time I find myself dwelling within a pit of deep depression, looking at one of her paintings restores my soul.
Today, we have some gorgeous paintings for your viewing pleasure, something I hope you spend your time doing whenever you visit the secondary blog.  We do our best to give you 15 of the greatest images painted by this prolific American artist so you can get your soul back on track and ready to deal with all of the political bullcrap we deal with on any given day.
Beverly is one of those all-time most awesome artists, a woman who conquered the loss of her leg at age 12, during the so-called ‘dark ages of medicine,’ a time when if one found him-or-herself beleaguered by cancer, he or she typically died.  Well, that was not the case for Beverly even though she had bone cancer, eating away at her lower leg.  Her doctor, a man who served as a surgeon during the First World War had the foresight to remove her leg at the hip and not at the knee.  The cancer surrounded her ankle and it was his genius that saved her and gave us her phenomenal talent.
Let us look at today’s selection of her paintings, beginning with #1296 and running to #1310.  If you are ready to commence, amigos, let us commence NOW:

That is going to do it today, mis amigos; once again, we have shared the cream that rises to the top of the churn.  We hope you have enjoyed today’s selection as much as I, your intrepid host, have.  Remember, when you find yourself down because of politics, just visit us, and enjoy perusing through some of the finest art the world has ever seen.  Please, join us every week and if you need frequent boosts to your sagging spirits, then I would say visiting both this and the main blog to see the paintings of the day.  You will thank us for the invitation.  See you over at the main blog!
Thanks.
