SPRING SESSION 2016

BLOGPOST #97 AT THE AICP-END

Welcome to the Secondary Blog
Bakersfield, CA, 05-18-2016 Wednesday: One of the things we feel bad doing at the blog is begging Google to take both of our blogs out of their doggone sandbox.  Two years ago, our numbers were climbing high by the day and then last year, all of a sudden, we lost all momentum and that is because Google seems to restrict our access to the big search engines.  We need more people to join us at both this blog and at the main blog because we do what we do for the readership, especially here where we share the art of Beverly Carrick.
Anyhow, we will attempt not to beg and plead for them to give us a wider slice of the Internet because otherwise, what the heck is the point in working hard seven days a week to promote and to praise the great Beverly Carrick.  Beverly is one of the all-time great artists of the last century and one whose work will live on forever.  We receive calls from numerous people asking us when they can begin buying her artworks again and until we obtain a business license and open a gallery, all you can do is look and admire and in the case of the Chinese, they copy and counterfeit her works much like they did Thomas Kinkaid—the so-called “painter of light.”
Here is our group of 15 Beverly Carrick originals for this week, we hope you enjoy them:

I certainly hope you enjoyed this group of paintings and as you can see, we have gone over 1200 of her paintings while at the main blog, I believe we are in the low 1300s.  She had 1,480 images we have on file and we will continue both blogs until we have shared ALL of them so please, join us at both blogs on a daily basis and send everyone you know to come join us, too.
As for Google, please, allow us access to a wider panorama of the Internet so we can get our opinions out there or shut down both of our blogs and let us call it a ‘day.’
See you at the main blog today and throughout the rest of the week.
Thank you!

WEDNESDAY, MAY 18, 2016

In 1976, the Climax Blues Band released the album that would change their lives and their careers forever and even though some fans had issues with it, “Gold Plated” is GREAT.  Some of us bought the album when it first came out because like it or not, “Couldn’t Get it Right” was infectious and still is infectious.  In fact, the entire album is awesome, one we love and know that the readership is going to love because it is worthy of ownership by you.  Do not allow the diehard purists to dissuade you because like it or not, bands evolve and what they put out 5-10 years after their debut and sophomore efforts obviously does not sound like what people first heard and enjoyed.  Look at the Rolling Stones for God’s Sake, they have transformed and evolved with the times so folks, we urge you to seek this CD out at Amazon.com so you can pick it up in the format, the condition, and the price that is best for you—you will be glad you did.
