“Beverly Carrick Paintings Start-to-Finish, Part Forty-Eight: Moses shares his thoughts on his Summer Vacation—especially the Bermuda Rum Swizzle—and what it means being in a place such as this…Heaven!” by Assistant Publisher Moses Scharbug III

The Moody Blues released their final album of the 1980’s, 1988’sSur La Mer,” an album critics hail as a return to form and away from the over-polished “The Other Side of Life.”  As we have mentioned, for bands from the 1960’s, the 1980’s were a difficult time as punk, techno-pop, and all sorts of other forms of pop music pushed venerable acts to the edge of extinction—even groups such as the Rolling Stones, Who, and the Kinks, for God’s Sake.  The band delivered a hot album with this one and it did very well in the charts and kept them on the road doing performances around the world.  We love this CD as will you.  The next CD by guitarist/vocalist Justin Hayward of the Moody Blues—“Classic Blue with Mike Batt”—came out in 1988.  This CD to some fans is a bit unthinkable in that the singer-songwriter-guitarist with the help of producer Mike Batt and a full orchestra record songs of other artists as well as a few of his own.  He goes from “Tracks of my Tears” to “Stairway to Heaven,” and while it shocks us to say this, he does one hell of a job!  Please, use the convenient links we provide you here so you can grab them and go directly to Amazon.com where you can snap this CD up in the format, the condition, and the price that is right for you as well as the previous one—you will thank us for turning you on to two amazing musical recordings—thank you!

SUMMER SESSION 2015

BLOGPOST #55 AT THE AICP-END

Bermuda simply is a Lovely Place to visit, my friends…
Bakersfield, CA, 07-29-2015 Wednesday: As you all should know, my wife, some of our family members and I are enjoying a long-awaited vacation in Bermuda, a great time to visit, at the height of the summer but also for the particular area.  The younger folks go out on snorkeling adventures while Lucinda and I prefer to stroll the streets of St. George or go to the Olde Towne Market events that the people of the islands enjoy.  They have ‘Salsamania’ events in which, the people come out and do their thing and all of it, I have to say, is highly entertaining.  The Bermuda National Art Gallery Tour is absolutely one of the nicest events to which, my wife or I have been, and I must say to anyone seeking a place to go to escape the misery of living back home in the United States, this is the place to go.
There are many things to do here in Bermuda…
Something else I would highly recommend is the historical reenactments at the naval yard where the British fleet of the 1800’s put in and spent time in port.  It is always fun to see other cultures swirling around one because it gives glimpses into places that do not have either the same values or the same need for global access that the U.S. does.  One of the things that makes other nations and terrorist movements hate us is the idea that they see us as an ‘imperial power’ which simply is not true.  We have brought freedom to almost every part of the globe whereas no other single nation ever has.  Yet, the people who hate us continue babbling about how horrible, how evil, the United States is, the people we have liberated through the shedding of our blood and treasure.  Take for instance the little prick who shot down the five U.S. military personnel in Chattanooga, Tennessee, we brought his family here and look at how he repaid us.  NO MORE MUSLIM EMIGRATION TO THE U.S.!
I say, “NO more Muslim Emigration to the United States!”
Okay, I did not mean to go all political on you today but somehow that always seems to happen, does it not?  Anyhow, we have another glorious batch of Beverly Carrick original artworks, why don’t we open the doors to the viewing chamber and allow all of you to venture on in and check out what it is we have for you here:
We pick up where we left off last week:

PLEASE BUY ALL OF THE ALBUMS WE ADVERTISE AT AMAZON.COM!
As always, we have a great time around here and that is why we want all of you to become a part of the organization by submitting articles to us for inspection and full-credit.  It is a great thing if you would do this, as it is a symbiotic relationship: we give you the space to share your recipes and in return, you send us more and more people who will become dedicated followers of the AICP-END.  Currently of multi-diversity across the Internet, it is important that we hear the voices of more and more people from all walks of the foodservice profession —join us.  We urge our readership to write to us, leave comments, and if there are any of you, who would care to write an article for us, please get in touch via Magnolia Hilltop Brewers, P.O. Box 20669, Bakersfield, CA 93390-0669
We obviously do not pay anything but give YOU full byline and that, my friends, is worth its weight in gold.  We want as many people who want to write to be able to do so and we believe that by presenting a forum for our fellow chefs, we are doing something for our beloved industry.  We love diversity and hope to add new and different authors to our pantheon of chefs, food and beverage directors, and culinary professionals.  Come on and join us, it will be fun!  Expect that when all of us have run through our cycle, we will be introducing some brand-new talent or so Stinky says.
We have touted the AARC Technology Company here in Bakersfield, CA, and must add the Nerds on Call.com folks.  Without them keeping our blog up-and-running, there is no telling where we would be now.  We have a great many problematic issues here at the AICP-END because even with the best security systems in the world, malware and other terrible fecal materials manage to penetrate the blog site.  Do yourself a favor, hire the best, and note, you can have online help via a remote button on your desktop for just $25 per mon7th!  Get in contact with the Nerds now!  Here is another note: do NOT do business with Galkos Construction, Inc., those people are nothing but crooks as if you lease your system, you will never pay it off, plus you have to pay them for excess energy produced by your system, the electric company does not buy all of it nor do they!  AVOID GCI AT ALL COSTS; DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS!
We are selling recipes all the time and you can order things you would like copies of simply by mailing us your name, address, the recipe you would like and a check for $1.00.  You can buy an entire week’s worth of recipes when we do a series simply by sending us a check or money order (no cash please!) for $20 and we will have it out to you in the next day’s mail.  Please become a part of the AICP-END by sending us your names, addresses, and information and we will welcome all of you with open arms!
To buy paintings, recipes, or full article series, please send us your information by mailing us at P.O. Box #20669, Bakersfield, CA, 93309-0669.  You can call about paintings at 661-374-1430; we will take all calls and provide to you as much information as is available.  It is time that we begin taking the next step and to immortalize Beverly Carrick for eternity and begin moving towards the establishment of a website of our own!  God bless each single one of you amongst our fan base!
That will do it for this week, my dearest friends, I do hope that if any of you come to Bermuda before we return home in another week, you will seek me out and share a beer with me.  The great thing about being on vacation is the fact that we commence drinking adult beverages from early in the morning until late in the evening.  I am telling you, the Bermuda Rum Swizzle, which uses 2-3 Gosling’s rum liquors gives it a potent punch that younger men and women than I do not seem to be able to handle.  To this, they add pineapple and orange juices as well as Angostura bitters and whatever else the mixologists decide to add to the beverage.  WOW—four or five of these and I am knocked out until noon the next day!  Of course, they make the gamut of all the other parasol-umbrella-tropical fruit drinks one can imagine and then some so why not seek out the nearest tropical bar in your neighborhood—I am sure folks living in backwoods Illinois can find such a place.  I will see you all next week, God bless you all and have a great day and remember: go on vacation soon!  Bye!
The Closing Words of our Founder, Stinkbug:
Anyhow, let us close with this impassioned plea—please leave some comments and/or become a follower.  What's more, why not spend some money and purchase an album by the Moody Blues, Justin Hayward, John Lodge, Mike Pinder, Graeme Edge, and Ray Thomas, and everyone else we advertise here and/or buy a book by any of the authors we advertise here!  In addition to that, we occasionally offer cookbooks and other oddball items so always pay attention to whatever you find in the tabs on the right side of the home page, everything you need is there!  Allied with them, we are pleased to market their merchandise!  Amazon.com is one of the greatest—if not the ultimate greatest!—online department stores in which, one can find almost everything on the planet.
Moreover, we love them and they love us and we want all of you to visit them daily, take advantage of their deals on everything from kitchen equipment to cookbooks, CDs, DVDs, and everything else a person could want.  Everything you buy from them puts money into our pockets, which allows us to keep this fine blog up-and-running 24/7/365!  God bless America and God bless Amazon.com, the world’s largest online marketplace in the world and most likely in the Universe!
Thank you!
