“It has been Three Years since Beverly Carrick left her Family and crossed to the Other Side but her Body of Work remains with us as a Reminder of the Love she shared with the World”

THE AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF CULINARY POLITICS-ELEMENTAL NEWS OF THE DAY COMMENTARY-OPINION-SPORTS-FOODSERVICE FOR WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 23, 2015 BY HONORARY CHEF AND PUBLISHER MOSES SCHARBUG III

WINTER SESSION 2015

BLOGPOST #76 AT THE AICP-END

Beverly was a free spirit in life but she could transmit her soul into each painting she created…
Oildale, CA, 12-23-2015 Wednesday: In two days, it will be Christmas, one of Beverly’s favorite holidays of the year because she enjoyed the decorations, the lights, the Christmas trees, the gifts, and everything else that went along with the glorious time.  She may not have been the most devout of Christians but she was indeed a free spirit that transmitted the inspiration of the Lord onto the canvass.  As you know, she originally wished to be a dancer when she grew up but bone cancer robbed her of that dream.  While convalescing—and this was at age 12—she began morphing from dancer to artist, which would carry her through the rest of her life.
Eventually, we will present the complete numbered series in its entirety…
As you will see here, we have a fine assortment of her paintings, the next fifteen in a batch that will one day reach between 1,480 to 1,500 paintings.  She did however paint far more paintings than these over the course of her life because in the early days, her ‘agents’ worked closely with interior decorators who sought the same paintings over and over and over.  She did use a different name, one which no one seems to recall now so those early paintings—perhaps thousands of them—will remain unknown.  If you are clever, you will be able to see the ‘Carrick’ in them but they will never attain the value that the numbered series, Numbers 1 through 1,480-1,500 depending upon the final count have.  This is why we urge all of you to join us at both blogs as we present them in their entirety.
One day, Beverly’s works will skyrocket in value…
We hope that one day, the value of Beverly’s works will skyrocket as they deserve to do, each of her paintings—even the innumerable deserts, seascapes, and a variety of other topics she chose to paint—varied in the minutiae that a stellar artist imparts to her works.  People who own the varied works sometimes cannot see the minute details but if you place them side-by-side and scrutinize them, you can discover and uncover the elaborate features that make each one an individual piece.  As you know—if you join us here regularly—are that many viewers have said that if they stand and peruse the painting for lengthy periods, they feel they can walk into the distance and disappear deep within the work.  That, friends, is what makes an artist unique and Beverly was indeed unique.
Beverly was indeed a unique individual…

It has been slightly more than three years since Beverly left her family…
It has been slightly more than three years since Beverly left her family and us, here at the American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day, and crossed to the other side.  Cancer struck her down for the third and final time of her life and it came extremely quickly.  Diagnosed in the week following the 2012 General Election, she was gone before the month was out, spending most of the final week in a deep coma.  It was very tragic for all but most of us believe that she reunited with her family and her lost leg, the one she lost at age 12.  In Heaven, or wherever you believe the souls go, she most likely dances once again and celebrates Christmas.
We celebrate the holidays at the office, too…
As I have mentioned time and again at the other, main blog, I am Jewish as is most of the family but some of the kids and grandkids have married Christians so we indeed celebrate a Hanukkah-Christmas celebration.  I used to spend the entire month of December and part of January—as well as the famed summer sessions—sitting here by my lonesome.  Now, that we are in the midst of radical change and transformation here at the blog, we, too, have a celebratory holiday party here, which is what makes me bid you all a very, merry Christmas from the bottom of my heart.  God bless, think of Beverly, and what exists beyond this universe as you revel in the gloriousness of Beverly Carrick original oil paintings—they are indeed soul stirring and heart-warming.  See you at the main blog seven days a week and here again next Wednesday.
Thank you,

  1. I have to admit that I am pleased that my day in the rotation of commenting on today’s blogs came up when my good friend, Moses, said the lovely things he did about my mother. My mother was a wonderful person although at times, she could be difficult to contend with, so individualistic and independent that she was. For most of my life, I could not imagine a time when she might leave me through the portal of death, it used to cause me a fair amount of concern. However, I have to say that when it came down to it, she in her own unique way prepared me for her to leave. I do miss her but I concur with Moses that she does indeed have her leg restored to her and that she can dance far better than she ever did as a flesh-and-blood human being. “Mom, I miss you, I love you, and I know I will see you again at some point on the other side—thank you for all you did for me in this life and for all you continue to do.” I believe there is life after death and I can assure you that we will all meet again with our loved ones despite what liberals and atheists tell us. Screw them! Please, join us today and share your thoughts, I look forward to hearing from you. Oh, thanks, Mo! / Posted by Chef Brian Carrick of the American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day, posted @ 04:09 P.M. PST
