“Beverly Carrick Paintings Start-to-Finish, Part Sixty-Five: Brian Carrick does his First Blog Post at the Secondary Blog and remembers his Mother, Beverly Carrick as only he can” by Chef Brian Carrick

In 2005, the great British band, the Moody Blues released yet another compilation package but a damned fine one at that “Chronicles.”  There are three discs here full of the crème de la crème of this phenomenal band plus liner notes and other good things.  We do hope that you will seek this excellent set of music recorded in their halcyon early-to-mid days, one we highly recommend and urge you to buy.  Please, use our link to redirect your browser to Amazon.com where you can get it in time before Christmas (29 days), maybe before Hanukkah (begins on December 06) and for Kwanzaa (30 days), too. As you know if you have been coming to both of our blogs for the past several years, we promote nothing but the BEST in rock-and-roll music and urge you to check out all of the classic rock music the world has ever had the opportunity to hear.  Thank you, from all of us here at the American Institute of Culinary Politics-Elemental News of the Day.

FALL SESSION 2015

BLOGPOST #72 AT THE AICP-END

Today, I do my first post here at the blog dedicated to my Mom
Bakersfield, CA, 11-25-2015 Wednesday: This is actually my first post over here at the blog where we celebrate the artworks of my mom, Beverly Carrick, so let me say how happy I am to be here today.  My mother was a big part of my life, she was the rock upon which, my world stood as a child and as a young man.  However, we also had numerous differences of opinion that could sometimes lead to some nasty arguments because we who belong to the Carrick Family seldom back down until we have fought a vigorous argument.
In a few days, we will be at the three-year anniversary of her death…
In a few days, we will hit the three-year anniversary of her death, a loss that still affects me in some ways and also one that I seemingly have mastered.  I think the last year of my mom’s life was a miserable one; she put all her eggs in the basket of Jack Russell, a man who knew no limits to the amount of braggadocio he could vomit on any given day.  She mourned the loss of her second husband, John, but then when Jack suddenly materialized, she threw the memory of Mr. Snow under the proverbial bus.  Sadly, when Jack died on New Year’s Day in 2012, his loss propelled my mother down a dark path because suddenly, her reason to live (as though she needed one) was gone and she felt he had abandoned her.
Mom changed after she lost her second husband and then September 11, 2001, happened…
In the ensuing months up until the day she fell into a coma were ones in which, she was angry a great deal, especially at me because I was the only remaining foil upon which, she could take out all her anger, frustrations, and depression.  For most of my life, I was fearful of something happening to her; however, at the end of 2012, I was at the breaking point and could not take her abusive ways much longer.  Then, the cancer hit her full force, Obama won reelection, and the rest is history.  I mourn her loss but I know she now inhabits a much better place and has reunited with not only John Snow but also her long-lost leg.  Here are the paintings we have for you today:

PLEASE BUY ALL OF THE ALBUMS WE ADVERTISE AT AMAZON.COM!
As always, we have a great time around here and that is why we want all of you to become a part of the organization by submitting articles to us for inspection and full-credit.  It is a great thing if you would do this, as it is a symbiotic relationship: we give you the space to share your recipes and in return, you send us more and more people who will become dedicated followers of the AICP-END
Currently of multi-diversity across the Internet, it is important that we hear the voices of more and more people from all walks of the foodservice profession —join us.  We urge our readership to write to us, leave comments, and if there are any of you, who would care to write an article for us, please get in touch via Magnolia Hilltop Brewers, P.O. Box 20669, Bakersfield, CA 93390-0669
We obviously do not pay anything but give YOU full byline and that, my friends, is worth its weight in gold.  We want as many people who want to write to be able to do so and we believe that by presenting a forum for our fellow chefs, we are doing something for our beloved industry.  We love diversity and hope to add new and different authors to our pantheon of chefs, food and beverage directors, and culinary professionals.  Come on and join us, it will be fun!  Expect that when all of us have run through our cycle, we will be introducing some brand-new talent or so Stinky says.
We have touted the AARC Technology Company here in Bakersfield, CA, and must add the Nerds on Call.com folks.  Without them keeping our blog up-and-running, there is no telling where we would be now.  We have a great many problematic issues here at the AICP-END because even with the best security systems in the world, malware and other terrible fecal materials manage to penetrate the blog site.  Do yourself a favor, hire the best, and note, you can have online help via a remote button on your desktop for just $25 per mon7th!  Get in contact with the Nerds now!
Here is another note: do NOT do business with Galkos Construction, Inc., those people are nothing but crooks as if you lease your system, you will never pay it off, plus you have to pay them for excess energy produced by your system, the electric company does not buy all of it nor do they!  AVOID GCI AT ALL COSTS; DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS!
We are selling recipes all the time and you can order things you would like copies of simply by mailing us your name, address, the recipe you would like and a check for $1.00.  You can buy an entire week’s worth of recipes when we do a series simply by sending us a check or money order (no cash please!) for $20 and we will have it out to you in the next day’s mail.  Please become a part of the AICP-END by sending us your names, addresses, and information and we will welcome all of you with open arms!
To buy paintings, recipes, or full article series, please send us your information by mailing us at P.O. Box #20669, Bakersfield, CA, 93309-0669.  You can call about paintings at 661-374-1430; we will take all calls and provide to you as much information as is available.  It is time that we begin taking the next step and to immortalize Beverly Carrick for eternity and begin moving towards the establishment of a website of our own!  God bless each single one of you amongst our fan base!
September 11, 2001, was a bad time for the Art Industry
I truly miss my Mom, I wish she were still alive but one thing I can tell you for sure is that when the painting business tanked sometime after the September 11, 2001, terror attacks, her will began to dissipate bit-by-bit.  As time went by, one gallery after another—some with whom she had long associations—began to tank, going belly up like goldfish in an untended fish tank.  People began to put their money away in case things went bad at some point and even though Mom did the same thing, putting her money into various accounts, property, and investments, she was angry about others no longer buying paintings.
The art business going to hell combined with Barack Obama winning reelection and my Mom gave up the will to live
Couple that with the arrival of Jack Russell, she began removing herself from the business and that has to have been one of the worst things she could because it opened the door to her giving up life and the reelection of Barack Hussein Obama finished her off.  At that point, the cancer that claimed her life and her soul entered the door and her time awaiting the blissful arms of death came faster than any of us ever expected.  I think in retrospect that that was the best thing for her, however, as having to do down slow would have been overly cruel for her to end her life.  God bless your soul, Mom, I hope you are happy wherever you at and know this: I pray for you every single day.  Thank you.
The Closing Words of our Founder, Stinkbug:
Anyhow, let us close with this impassioned plea—please leave some comments and/or become a follower.  What's more, why not spend some money and purchase an album by the Moody Blues, Justin Hayward, John Lodge, Mike Pinder, Graeme Edge, and Ray Thomas, and everyone else we advertise here and/or buy a book by any of the authors we advertise here!  In addition to that, we occasionally offer cookbooks and other oddball items so always pay attention to whatever you find in the tabs on the right side of the home page, everything you need is there!  Allied with them, we are pleased to market their merchandise!  Amazon.com is one of the greatest—if not the ultimate greatest!—online department stores in which, one can find almost everything on the planet.
Moreover, we love them and they love us and we want all of you to visit them daily, take advantage of their deals on everything from kitchen equipment to cookbooks, CDs, DVDs, and everything else a person could want.  Everything you buy from them puts money into our pockets, which allows us to keep this fine blog up-and-running 24/7/365!  God bless America and God bless Amazon.com, the world’s largest online marketplace in the world and most likely in the Universe!
Thank you, my friends!
